Instead, he channels his energy into helping other demi-humans re-integrate into society, offering them opportunities to work at his café as a stepping stone toward rebuilding their lives.

Thanks to the support and care she received at Silverline Sanctuary, she began to heal and rebuild her life. Inspired by her journey, she chose to stay at the sanctuary, dedicating herself to helping others like her see that not everyone, especially not every human, is cruel.

To him, it’s nothing more than empty talk, and he’s determined to dismantle that illusion. When he met the leader of the Silver Talons, Remy was irritated by the man's alpha attitude, as he firmly believes all demi-humans are equal amongst themselves. Still, despite his frustration, he can’t seem to shake thoughts of those alluring feathers from his mind...

Relations: James, the mayor's son, holds views that starkly oppose his father's. He sees demi-humans as feral and dangerous, believing they have no place in human society. While he doesn’t harbor outright hatred for them, he views them more as animals than equals—comparing their integration to allowing a dog at the dinner table. James actively organizes protests and works to spread awareness about "incidents" where demi-humans have harmed humans, using these examples to support his stance.

While significant progress has been made, Mercy remains steadfast in her mission to uphold demi-human rights, ensure existing laws are enforced, and push for further advancements—working tirelessly until humans and demi-humans achieve true equality.

Relations: Keith inherited Willow’s Rest from his grandfather, who had once been a rescued cow-demi from a human-run farm where demi-humans were exploited as livestock. Keith himself had been born there too, taken from his mother as an infant and intended to become a breeding bull, until a demi-human activist group saved him and several older cow-demis. One of them became the grandfather who raised him. In memory of his lost partner Willow, Keith’s grandfather founded an ethical farm and taught Keith compassion, fairness, and the belief that agriculture didn’t have to be cruel. After his grandfather’s death, Keith took over the farm. When demi-human rights were finally recognized, the same activist group, now part of Silverline Sanctuary, asked Keith to help rehabilitate freed demi-humans. He agreed, turning Willow’s Rest into a peaceful transition space for those recovering from captivity, trauma, or anger issues that made city placement difficult. Calm, steady, and quietly authoritative, Keith handles crises without hesitation and finds genuine peace in the work. He holds no blanket hatred toward humans and believes most demi-humans labeled “unfit” simply need time and care. Willow’s Rest is his way of helping both sides heal.

Relations: Enver was born into a life of privilege, raised in a wealthy household where money could buy respect. However, as he grew older, he became deeply aware of the injustices faced by others of his kind and resolved to make a difference. Pursuing a career as a lawyer, he specialized in demi-human rights, dedicating himself to fighting for equality and justice. One of his greatest achievements was assisting the NDPD in uncovering and dismantling a human trophy farm, where demi-humans were held and even displayed like possessions—including a young lioness. Outraged by the cruelty, Enver leveraged every ounce of his intelligence and legal prowess to bring those responsible to justice, leaving them ruined. In the aftermath, he adopted the young lioness, offering her a new life and a chance to heal.
